PHAT LAB from Biwako Shiga JAPAN.

The story started from an original wooden big bait called NEKOSOGI handcrafted on the shores of Lake Biwa.

NEKOSOGI give birth to a new swimbait fishing style : DEAD SLOW RETRIEVE (DSR) that uses a unique lip design to avoid weeds and obstacles and keeps a specific action at ultra-low speed enticing the predator to use it's mouth to kill the bait.

"Nekosogi play" means fishing at extremely slow speed with a big bait at 10 seconds per handle revolution. This new "Nekosogi play"style became legendary by producing monster fish. In 2016, the ABS mass production type started and the Nekosogi DSR was finally released.
