SP HOOK
Ichikawa FishingAn offset hook suitable for fishing such as swim bait, buzz frog, soft jerk bait, etc., which is used by moving the worm laterally.
I made it a long eye to prevent the worm from running out at the offset part.
What I hope for this kind of tension is that even if you jerk the soft jerk bait violently, the worm will not shift and the tension will not come out. Keep the initially set state even after repeating the cast hundreds of times. When the fish bites, the worm will shift properly and hang on the tension.
The worm is supported and cast at three points: the offset angle, the tension tip angle, and the bending angle, and it is designed so that it will not shift during action and will be applied to the tension by the force of the fish biting.
In addition, unnecessary wide gape will cause the worm to shift more than necessary during actual fishing, and the overall balance will be lost. If this happens, not only will the movement of the worm be impaired, but the tip of the worm will come out and it will lead to rooting.
With this area in mind, we have adopted the optimum gap width derived by testing the worm retention rate and hookup rate.
The wire diameter is a heavy wire that can handle heavy bites and large fish with a margin so that it can fly a long distance even with a no sinker, but it has a super smooth PTFE coating and is excellent in firmness.
